One party in our country refuses to admit the truth or its existence about anything, and many of its members believe that they inherently deserve privileges and special treatment. As such, they continue to refuse to accept the results of the 2020 election purporting that they stole the election from them though overwhelming evidence proves otherwise. Shamelessly, they beat the drums of lies and stupidity instead of stepping on the brakes. For them, if they did not win an election, it is because of fraud.
Their resolve has been to change the election rules and put election deniers in charge so they can falsify the outcome in their favor should they lose. It is like placing a rapist to head a female prison. This action is happening in over half the country, approximately 29 states.
Consequently, we now have two Americas comprised of those who abide by the law and believe in the constitution and those who do not and will storm the Capitol to stop our democratic process. Unfortunately, to those who say this is not who we are, this is who almost half of us are.
To prove this point, a twenty-year-old boy whipped this card out of his wallet.
I asked him if he believed “white men can’t jump,” and he responded, “I don’t have to jump; everything comes down to me.” So I advised him to enroll in college to interpret and experience the world, which he has done.

The Trump-led coup d’etat (January 6, 2021, attack on the capitol) instigated by the twice-impeached ex-president and his lies about a “stolen election” was supported by the White Supremacist faction of the Republican Party (who now constitute a majority in the party) and their domestic terrorist sympathizers. These diehard Trump cultists would like to see American society revert to a white-dominated plantocracy in which everyone else is disenfranchised. In a country where a lot of white folks still harbor nostalgic sentiments about the days of slavery when their forebearers preached from the bible to justify their enslavement of black and brown people, it comes as no surprise that they see the fascist, autocratic, and criminal-minded Trump (Hitler and Putin come to mind) as the “champion” of their dystopic imagination. If a twenty-year-old white guy today has no scruples brandishing a fake White privilege card indicating that nothing else matters other than the color of his skin, it is because American society led by white folks legitimized white privilege long before this nation became the democratic society it claims to be. And now that a rouge billionaire had the audacity to organize a botched forcible take-over of government on January 6, this has only increased the hopes of white supremacists in the country that they could possibly subvert the wishes of the majority of Americans who believe in democracy and the peaceful transfer of power after each presidential election.
