I graduated with a degree in English Language and Geography over three decades ago from the university of Sierra Leone, West Africa. Upon graduation, I taught English Language and Literature in  high school for a couple of years  before trying my hand at writing as a means of earning a living.

I have since worked as a reporter for the Voice of America and  written for local newspapers in Sierra Leone before heading to the United States.

Here in the U. S.,I studied economics at the University of Texas at Dallas, a move that put me in good stead to work first  at a mortgage company and then Bank of America where I retired as a mortgage banker.
